Update now available

Here it is!

Unfortunately this update came a few days later than expected due to University Coursework and other projects taking up more time than anticipated but it was worth it. Finding motivation to keep working on this project was hard at times, but seeing people actually playing it and enjoying it has been the best motivation I could ask for. Recently Goodbye Brother passed 100 downloads which was an amazing feeling and I'm grateful for everyone who played it.

I should probably stop saying I as I can't claim credit for all the work done. My friend Nullific was an immense help with the original version of the project and responsible for the majority of the programming, but now we've reached more of a shared partnership on the project as we're both happy to keep working on it post- launch.

This update includes

- Main Menu

- Better Sound Design, with footsteps for each type of terrain the player steps on

- Spelling Corrections

- And most importantly a working boat that the player can move around in as they wish

If you've played the original then there are a few more subtle differences you may notice as well ;) 

Beyond that I don't want to get too much into it as I'd rather people play the game themselves and see how it's improved. I will be posting another dev log shortly though, stating what we'll be looking to improve for the next update. :)
